Use this program to print in summary or detail format a register of all contract invoices to be posted to the current period.
The Contract Invoice Register must be run in order to post the appropriate General Ledger accounts.
Summary information includes register date and number, invoice number, date, terms code, department, customer number and name, contract, meter, discount, tax, and total information.
Detail information includes the summary information plus line number, equipment description, and pricing information. Subtotals and averages are included.
When running this program, choose whether or not to build a general ledger distribution. The GL distribution information includes GL period, GL account number and description, customer information, invoice number and the amount to be debited and credited.
1. Date
Enter the register date. The date must be within the current or next GL period. Enter (CR) defaults to the system date.
2. Branch
Enter the branch to update. Enter (CR) defaults to the branch from SM Terminal F/M for the user code. Press F3 to select all branches.
3. Scope
Enter whether to print the register in Summary or Detail format.
4. Correct
Indicate whether the information entered is for the correct GL and SR periods. If the information is not correct, make the necessary corrections.
For users print the GL distribution, the following prompt is displayed:
5a. Check register. OK to print GL distribution?
After printing the Contract Invoice Register, verify the printout. If there is a correction to be made, enter N to exit the program. After the correction is made, the register can be rerun. If everything is correct, enter YES to continue. The program then prints the GL distribution. Once the GL distribution is printed, proceed to Check GL distribution. OK to update.
For users not printing the GL distribution, the following field is displayed:
5b. Check register. OK to update?
After printing the Daily Sales Register, verify the printout. If there is a correction to be made, enter N to exit the program. After the correction is made, the register can be rerun. If everything is correct, enter YES to continue and no GL distribution will be printed, the following field is skipped and the program proceeds with the update.
6. Check GL distribution. OK to update?
After printing the GL distribution, verify the printout. If everything is correct, enter YES to continue. The program proceeds with the update. If there is a correction to be made, enter N to exit the program. After the correction is made, the entire register process begins again.
