Armed with Bachelor of Physics degree from the University of Minnesota, Bruce entered the computer and software industry in 1978 as a developer and support person for a distributor of whole distribution software. He earned his MBA in 1982 and soon after joined Grant Thorton as a consultant, working with clients who were looking to implement or upgrade software systems within their company. In 1986 Bruce was hired by a Minneapolis-based seller of wholesale distribution software to manage its team of software professionals. It was here that he was first exposed to FACTS and to EDI.
Bruce joined Sequoia Group in 2008 as a senior software engineer and has been involved in the development, implementation and support of the FACTS Distribution Management system and other associated software products. Among his specialties is the implementation and support of EDI using Sequoia’s Data Exchange product. He enjoys working with other team members and with Sequoia customers. He always loves a new challenge and seeing the solution through to its successful completion.
